Appointments

Appointment Information

Appointments are required for all consultations, except in emergencies.

To ensure adequate time for your care, please book a separate appointment for each family member and inform our reception team if you have multiple concerns so a longer consultation can be arranged.

Telehealth appointments are available for patients who are regularly seen in person at the practice. Phone consultations are suitable for simple issues such as medical certificates and repeat prescriptions. If your concern requires further assessment, your doctor may recommend an in-person appointment.

Procedures, such as lesion removal, are scheduled following consultation with your GP.

If you require a specialist referral, including ongoing or repeat referrals, an appointment with your GP is necessary. In line with Medicare requirements, referrals cannot be backdated and must be issued during a consultation.

Medical certificates can only be issued following a consultation with your doctor and only where clinically appropriate, and they cannot be backdated.

Similarly, repeat prescriptions require a consultation to allow for appropriate review and ongoing management of your condition.

Insurance, employment, and driver’s licence medicals must be booked in advance, as these appointments may take up to 45 minutes.

Results and Reminders

We encourage patients to book a follow-up appointment with their GP to discuss results. Our doctors review all incoming results throughout the day, and if further consultation is required, our team will contact you to arrange an appointment. If we are unable to reach you, a letter will be sent to your recorded address, so please ensure your contact details are kept up to date.

If your results are URGENT, you will be contacted immediately.

Our clinic offers a reminder system to support routine health checks and preventive care. Reminders are sent via SMS through the HotDoc system. Please ensure your contact details, including your mobile number, are kept up to date.

 WorkCover & Workplace Injuries

All WorkCover consultations must be paid at the time of your appointment unless an approved WorkCover claim number has been provided. If a claim number has not yet been issued, payment is required by either the patient or their employer.
